I was a communication arts/theology major and decided to do a joint thesis on what blogging is and how it can help strengthen the Church's message of salvation. I look back sometimes and am like, "WHAA? How did that happen?" But it did...so I've been pretty triflin' not holding up my end of the bargain and actually pursuing it much myself. I do have one on Tumblr and Tumblr is fun, but Blogger seems more convenient and I follow a lot more blogs on there. In a later post, I'll list my favies.
Now, it's been over a year since I've graduated and I've near completed a great year of service with an amazing non-profit, called Maggie's Place, and organization that offers houses of hospitality for pregnant woman who are homeless. I've been through a lot and I want to document whatever the Lord has in store in a new format. More to come. =)
Edit:
I little info on the title...In college I was in a household (spiritual, Catholic sorority-like sisterhood), based on the spirituality of St. Therese. When we'd celebrate the Lord's Day, we'd pass around a cup of wine and say to the person sitting next to us, "May the Joy of Christ fill Your Heart". Therefore, I kind of borrowed it from that. I can't way I can teach someone how to "fill their heart with joy" or anything, but one could say it's kind of a documentation of how I try to seeks Christ's love and joy in everything I do.
